Professional career coaching
Coaching
Everyone faces challenges in the workplace. These can relate to:
wanting to change jobs
having a tricky relationship with your boss
imposter syndrome, or
feeling overwhelmed with a busy workload
It is hard to know where to turn for professional help with these challenges. Most workplaces don't provide solutions to their employees for these sorts of issues, and those that do can sometimes feel too close to the problem.
That's where coaching comes in. Carving out an hour in a busy week to talk things through, with a neutral and objective career coach, can lead you to:
clearer and more structured thinking, and
ideas for ways to navigate the challenge.
Emily Lew Coaching
I bring to my coaching practice the experience gained during almost twenty years of working in city law firms, and fifteen years on the strategic board of a charity.
During my career as a lawyer I have experienced at first hand the positive impact that coaching can have, both on a coachee’s professional life and their personal life.
A coaching session allows you to step away from your daily demands for an hour of strategic thinking, priority setting and reflection. This adds tangible value to your professional performance, relationships and wellbeing in the workplace. It also helps to create a culture of coaching in your organisation.
My role as a coach is to facilitate thinking; I provide the space and time for my clients to work through whatever challenges they may be facing. I love to see my clients progress to clearer thinking, identifying positive solutions, and fulfilling their greatest potential.
I was trained as a coach by Ride the Wave Professional Coach Training and am accredited by the Association for Coaching.
